Frequently asked questions

What is the purpose of TenFoundation?

TenFoundation empowers adults across all life stages with the tools, support, and community connections needed to live meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives. We bridge generations by preparing younger adults for confident aging while helping older adults maintain purpose and dignity.

Our programs serve adults of all ages—from 18-year olds just starting their careers to 80-year-olds seeking renewed purpose. We offer age-appropriate programming that meets people where they are in their life journey.

Everything we offer—career coaching, wellness programs, mentoring, financial planning—supports our goal of creating a society that
embraces aging and lifelong purpose. Each program component builds toward that inclusive vision.

Our Mentoring Classes are structured, 4-month group programs that combine peer learning, expert guidance, and personal mentorship. Participants join age appropriate cohorts, engage with curated materials, and receive ongoing support to achieve personal
and professional goals.

Can I participate if I’m in Absolutely! It’s never too early to plan for your future. Our 18-30 age group focuses on career foundation, financial literacy, and early life planning. Starting young gives you a significant advantage in building the life you want.

Our Life Plan Community is a support network (not a residential facility) for adults 50+ who want to age in place while staying connected, purposeful, and engaged. Members access wellness programs, social activities, learning opportunities, and mentorship roles.

Visit our “Join a Mentoring Class” page to complete our brief application. We’ll match you with an age-appropriate cohort and connect you with a mentor who understands your life stage and goals.

Use our events calendar to book workshops or sessions, apply for mentoring classes through our website, or contact us directly at [contact information]. Most programs begin with an introductory session or consultation.

Participants receive personalized support, practical life strategies, expert guidance, peer connections, and accountability systems to
navigate life changes confidently. Many report increased clarity, improved relationships, and greater sense of purpose.

We offer a mix of free community programs and fee-based intensive programs. Our mentoring classes have a modest fee to ensure commitment and program sustainability, but we provide scholarships for those with financial need.

You can send a gift to support our programs, volunteer your time and expertise, refer others who might benefit from our services, or simply spread
awareness about the importance of purposeful aging in your community.
